Learn the empowering skill of the Alexander Technique to help alleviate tension in the body, mind, and emotions.
What is the Alexander Technique?
The Alexander Technique is a method of stopping a specific pattern of muscular tension associated with stress. It allows you to be more adaptable and react smarter in your specific environment and situation.
With over 100 years of history and extensive clinical research, the Alexander Technique has proven benefits, including:
Improve posture
Relieve pain especially for joint related, spinal issues or those with RSI
Enhance coordination and skill in all activities
Prevent injury and fatigue
Make pregnancies more manageable
Release unnecessary tension
Find a balanced flowing and powerful expression of the self
Improve and enhance the practice of artists like actors, musicians, dancers, and other performers
Improve and enhance the practice of sports people including golfers, swimmers, runners, horse riders, and racket sports.
Your Instructor
Joni Clare

Joni Derdzinski (Joni Clare), owner of Tune Me Studio offers pathways and leadership through education, creativity and the healing arts. She works with adolescents to elders and places attention into mindfulness, resiliency and connection.
An AmSat certified Alexander Technique teachers, she completed a 1600 hour certification in 2018 from the Oregon Center for the Alexander Technique. She has been studying the technique for 12 years and offers the community private instruction and community workshops. Her exploration in Framework for Integration, an integral model for movement pattern recognition has led her to a Level 1 Certificate which is practiced alongside Alexander Technique.
She is a certified Vibrational Sound Practitioner offering sound baths and private sessions since 2023. She is also a songwriter, performer and music instructor teaching private lessons in the Northwoods. She has been singing, performing and recording for most of her life and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from UW-Milwaukee in 2015.
Joni has completed her Introduction to the Early Childhood Profession course and has been working with Terri’s Treehouse Learning Center for 2+ years between substitute teaching and leading the Elemental Roots Edu Enrichment Program.
