We’ll explore: White, Green, Oolong, Black, Pu’er, plus a final session featuring tea cocktail infusions and creative ways to enjoy tea beyond the traditional cup.

This is an interactive class. You’ll watch demonstrations, learn simple brewing techniques, and brew your own tea alongside the instructor, so you leave with real confidence (and a better palate).

Who is it for

This Masterclass series is designed for anyone who loves tea—or wants to. Each 90-minute session offers a relaxed, approachable introduction to the world of tea without getting overly technical or chemistry-heavy.

What to expect

Each week focuses on one specific type of tea, exploring its story, origin, and unique character while learning how processing methods shape flavor, aroma, and overall experience.

About your instructor

Andrea Pitman is the visionary behind Unwind Spa, her interest in tea grew from a personal exploration of ritual, presence, and the power of simple daily practices. Her practice is rooted in the study of Chinese tea culture and Gong Fu Cha under Xin Obaid of MingXin Chinese Cultural Exchange in Eau Claire, alongside inspiration from modern tea leaders including Don Mei of Mei Leaf and Henrietta Lovell of the Rare Tea Company. Andrea guides experiential tea tastings centered on presence, connection, and sensory awareness.
